Who is Band Rescue for?

• Patients who had a gastric band abroad and have no access to UK aftercare
  
  

• Patients who had a gastric band in the UK with another surgery provider but are unhappy with the aftercare provided
  
  

• Patients who have lost faith with the band because they haven't managed to lose weight and who believe it is their fault when in fact the band has never been adjusted properly
  
  

• Patients with problems because the access port is in a bad position - often on the chest wall over the ribs - which makes adjustments very painful
  
  

• Patients who had a gastric band and are experiencing any of the following symptoms and told that it is quite normal and to be expected (it is not!) 

  1. Chronic retching/vomiting

  2. Heartburn/reflux

  3. Hoarseness of the voice

  4. Frequent chest infections

  5. Night cough

  6. Intolerance of solid foods

  7. Development of asthma like symptoms which you may not have experienced before
