Although gastric band patients understandably focus on the surgical procedure, the most important factor in long-term success is the quality of aftercare, expert gastric band adjustment and support.  That's why we provide the best gastric band aftercare possible, including unlimited gastric band adjustments for 2 years to make sure you get off to a winning start.  Our aftercare package includes:

  • Your Surgery Gastric Band Book – written by Dr David Ashton – which contains everything you could possibly need to know about the gastric band, including nutrition, physical activity and the 10-Success Rules 

  • Close support from Senior Bariatric Nurse in immediate post-operative period  

  • Post-operative clinical review with bariatric specialist at 2-weeks 

  • Support from Specialist Health Educator for 1 year following surgery 

  • 1st adjustment of gastric band under X-ray to ensure correct port location and accurate gastric band adjustment usually at 6-9 weeks following surgery
