A Gastric Band Cured My Bulimia

'I shovelled cake into my mouth until I could barely breathe' Tracy Kennish tells Now magazine why she turned to Healthier Weight and Gastric Band surgery.

Tracy battled with her weight for 20 years, her dress size fluctuating between a size 8 and a size 18.

Tracy suffered from bulemia from the age of 17, turning to laxatives when she was unable to make herself sick.

At the age of 36 Tracy turned to us here at Healthier Weight after reading about the benefits of a Gastric Band.

'Having the band fitted is the best thing I've ever done. I may not have been fat enough for it but after 20 years of living a nightmare I really needed it.' Tracy goes on to tell Now magazine that she is training for a marathon which is something that she has always wanted to do.
