In November 2006 at only 19 years of age, Asim was one of the first people in the UK to have an Easyband with Healthier Weight.
In the first nine months since his operation, Asim lost an amazing 61.5lbs, nearly 4.5 stones. His body mass index (BMI) reduced from 55 to 44. Although not yet at his target weight, Asim has already noticed a massive difference to his life.
“I feel less tired and can do so much more than I could before” . Health Educator Colleen Campbell has been very pleased with his progress to date and is confident that with continued support from the Healthier Weight Centre he can achieve his goal.
