Calorie creep - To achieve and maintain a healthy weight, you have to think about it; awareness is key
So much of our eating behaviour is habitual that unless you make eating a conscious activity, you will find it difficult to change. Keeping a food diary is a great way to increase your awareness, which is why it features so regularly in the key habits of successful dieters.
It doesn’t have to take long and you don’t have to count calories. Just write down everything you eat and drink during the day and see where the calories creep in around the edges. Can be quite a surprise!

Esther comes from a boxing family and one of the highlights of her life (after getting married!) was to see a top fight in Las Vegas. Her sister Andrea is also a boxing nut, so along with Dr Ashton there's many a lively discussion on who's the greatest boxer of all time!
