People who have never had a weight problem don’t understand the effort involved in losing weight – and keeping it off. “Why don’t they just do it?” is a common refrain from slim people, including many in the medical profession, who assume that there is an easy way to lose weight.
At Healthier Weight we know that knowing what to do doesn’t mean that it is easy to do it. We see people who have been “struggling”, “battling” with their weight for many years with no success. Lifelong habits cannot be broken overnight.
