The UEFA Women’s Euro Championship 2022 has begun, with England already making their mark with two match wins bringing them to the quarter finals.
Englands opening game brought a record breaking 68,871 fans into Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester showing the progress women’s sport is slowly making and that WOMEN CAN!
Giving Up Is Not The Answer…
To get to this record breaking stage has been anything but an easy ride for women’s football, not just in England, but across the globe. Despite hateful and discriminating comments, they have continued to play the sport they love to represent women and to inspire future generations to do the same. This is a perfect example of how not giving up for something you want, will eventually gift you with an amazing outcome. This similar attitude shown in the Women’s Euro’s today, could also be applied to those who have had Weight Loss Surgery in those harder or more doubting moments.
“It isn’t the mountains ahead to climb that wear you down, it’s the pebble in your shoe”
What’s The Pebble In Your Shoe?
Referencing the inspiring quote above, it isn’t often the end goal that seems hard to reach but rather the smaller things along the way that stop you from getting there. So what are the small things that are stopping you from reaching your weight loss goal?
Is it a small stall in your weight loss or the number on the scale being higher than expected? Both of these are completely normal experiences and using the number on the scale as a measure of your progress, isn’t always the best representation of how far you have come. Perhaps that small pebble is an issue surrounding food and nutrition either involving your digestion or struggling on what to eat? But here at Healthier Weight we are here to listen and guide you in the right direction to help you climb the rest of that mountain.
