Sticking to set meal times is proving a difficulty, especially being jet lagged!
This week has thrown me completely with jet lag. I’ve never been abroad before so having such a hectic 5 days with no sleep then juggling the huge time difference hasn’t been easy. My body doesn’t want to eat when it should, I’m still a bit bloated from the traveling and flights so it’s uncomfortable. Meal wise, I’m sticking to soft foods as every time I try to eat whole foods it just gets stuck. So, it’s easier to avoid them as I know it’s only for a few days.
I weighed in and lost 3lbs which is amazing. I feel bloated still, but in reality I had done loads of activity and not much eating so hoping it doesn’t show next week as I’m back to eating 2-3 meals a day rather than 1 which was last week! I know I should get back up to 3 but it’s so hard to eat in the mornings, I’ve never really been a breakfast kind of person but I think it may help adjust my eating if I start having breakfast. I have enjoyed getting in smaller clothes or in clothes that were just too tight before. It’s definitely starting to show now, but for me to see that’s been 19 weeks. We are our own worst critics. I have a way to go but I’m starting to feel better about how I look.
