About Healthier Weight

Healthier Weight is exclusively devoted to the management of overweight and obese patients. No other healthcare organisation provides such a comprehensive range of weight loss options including weight loss foods, behavioural weight loss programmes and obesity surgery.

Weight loss is all we do and we are serious about it. Since the company was formed in 2005 by Dr David Ashton, we have helped thousands of patients to lose weight and change their lives forever.

NHS Gastric Band Training

In 2010 Dr Ashton established a specialist one-day training programme on the management of the gastric band patient. Healthcare staff in both the NHS and private sector were trained on all aspects on gastric band care including correct band adjustment techniques. This training day is now being extended into various centres of excellence in Europe. Find out more about how and when gastric bands are offered by the NHS.
