How much does the bypass cost?
At Healthier Weight we provide you with a fixed price gastric bypass package. With this package you have certainty of the cost of your treatment, including aftercare, blood tests and any treatment required in relation to a complication arising from your procedure. Put simply, it means you can go ahead with surgery safe in the knowledge that you will be faced with unexpected additional costs in the future.
The fixed price of your gastric bypass will vary depending on several factors including your location, the type of gastric bypass (primary or revision) and any special treatment requirements that are identified in the pre-operative period.
Bypass Finance Plans
Once you’ve come for consultation and decided you want to go ahead, it can be frustrating to have to wait while you save for a procedure that you’d rather have as soon as possible.
For this reason, we’ve developed two finance options that are designed to make the Healthier Weight gastric bypass package, and all the aftercare and support it includes, more accessible to those who want it. These plans also appeal to those people who simply want to spread their surgery payment over a period of time.
There are different plans to suit your needs depending on whether you want to finance the full procedure fee or just a small part of it.

If you have most but not quite all of the surgery fee you can choose to defer up to £2,000 of the fee and repay it interest free over 12 months from the date of your surgery. You’ll repay in 12 equal installments of £166.66 per month and the whole amount will be repaid within 12 months of your surgery.
Spread the cost over 5 years
We’ve partnered with Ideal4Finance, to enable our patients to spread the cost of their procedure with manageable monthly payments.** The application process is simple and patients have access to a varied, competitive panel of secured and unsecured lending options offering competitive APRs.
All APRs are dependent on your credit rating and personal circumstances, and the lenders individual criteria. A soft search will be carried out when completing your Ideal4Finance application, which should not affect your credit score.
Alternatively, you can pay everything up front or use another source of finance. Healthier Weight does not benefit from any interest or fees charged by lenders and we are keen for patients to find the finance plan that works best for them. Sometimes it’s best to inquire with your own bank or lender as well as exploring the options we have available.
* Monthly Deferred Instalments will be collected via Direct Debit or Credit/Debit cards. Terms and conditions relating to these recurring payments are included within the credit agreement and procedure terms and conditions supplied at the time of booking.
