My gastric sleeve story: Week 14

I was surprised this week that I only lost a pound as I have been making good food choices and have stuck religiously to my planned meals / 1000kcal a day, however my mum suggested that my big loss last week was likely due to fluid loss from when I had been ill and I may have put some of it back on but I am still happy to be in the 17’s!

I feel I am at a weight now where I have the energy to do lots more and have started riding my horse again which has been a massive step for me! I bought a couple of work-out DVD’s just before my op and I have done them both this week – It was a bit comical prancing around the living room and I’m not sure it’s going to be my exercise of choice going forward but it felt good to get moving and not feel like I was going to keel over and die!

I have booked to go to Wales on 30th May with the family for the half term break and have set myself a goal to be under 17 stone by the time we go. I find it a lot more motivating to think in terms of going down to the next stone bracket than to think I have another 5ish stone left to be at my ultimate goal of under 12 stone.
