I am over the moon that I have still managed to lose a couple of pounds despite having what I thought had been a terrible week diet wise last week! I really think the exercise has helped! I have been off work most days as I am getting things ready for holiday and have had a few appointments so I have been getting out as much as I can either taking my horse out or walking the dog and I am amazed at how much better I feel for it. I have spent the last 3 or 4 years working long hours cooped up at home or in the office making excuses as to why I can’t go for a walk and I now realise that the thought of doing it is so much worse than actually doing it!
I have decided against joining a gym as I live in the countryside and have a dog who loves walks and horses that need exercising and I would rather spend my time with them getting fit than paying out for a gym I will most likely not enjoy. I will however go swimming and I have ordered a treadmill and have promised myself that every time I watch EastEnders (which I do religiously) I will walk on the treadmill for the half hour it is on!
