Well I was pleased to return from holiday and weigh myself and find I had lost 3lb, it certainly seems to be coming off well now and it finally feels like my head has caught up with my tummy & I have finally stopped thinking about and worrying about food all the time, it honestly barely crosses my mind. I eat when I am hungry & I try to make sensible choices – otherwise it is really not a big thing in my life anymore.
With holidays and being busy I have stopped filling in my fitness pal app obsessively with what I am eating and I feel so much better for it, I’m not worrying about calories all the time and I’m not thinking “well I have 200 cals left I can treat myself”. I am being guided by my body alone and it really is helping me to stop overthinking it. I am away on a girly weekend to Butlins tomorrow so I will have to see what damage that might do!
