I'm a little bit disappointed at only 1lb loss this week as I have eaten no more than 950 kcals in any one day and have been swimming 3 times, been to the gym three times and rode my horse for an hour and a half but I have been doing weight training at the gym and I’m hoping that I’m either gaining muscle or that my body is in a bit of shock and the losses will show next week.
I never thought I would say this but I think I’m getting a bit addicted to exercise! On the days when I don’t do any I feel lazy and sluggish so I have been walking the dog each evening as well. I find I feel amazing on the days that I swim before work and then do 45 mins in the gym on way home. I feel energised for a couple of hours afterwards but then when it gets to about 9pm I am so tired and have been sleeping like a baby which is yet another bonus!
The instructor in the gym gave me a workout which I have been following that involves 20 mins cardio, 20 mins weight training doing 3 sets of 10 reps on various machines and then another 10 mins of cardio. I prefer the treadmill or the stepper to the exercise bikes or the cross trainers and each time I go, the machine tells me I burn between 160-200 Kcals. However my favourite is swimming but it is a bit of a pain getting ready for work afterwards with wet hair etc.
I have found my appetite seems to have reduced as well since I have upped the exercise, I don’t feel hungry at all until the afternoon but have been forcing myself to have fruit and yoghurt in the morning but can only manage a couple of mouthfuls.
I am desperate to get into the 15 stones, I feel like I've been stuck in the 16’s forever so fingers crossed I'll have a good loss next week and crack it.
