“I started to think about weight loss surgery early 2021. I never really considered this to be an option for me over the years, but I have always struggled with my weight. I had a consultation over the phone with Dr John Loy. He was lovely right from the get-go, made me feel super comfortable and agreed for me to have the surgery. On the day of surgery, I was super excited. Dr Loy was just as lovely in person, so informative and overall had a lovely calming influence. He explained everything from the surgery to the recovery and answered all my questions. I walked into surgery which felt surreal, and everyone was welcoming and made me feel at ease. The next thing I knew I was waking up back in my room! I previously had my gall bladder removed and the pain from that was awful, so I was bracing myself for a similar thing, but honestly, nothing!
Like most reviews I read during my research I noticed people writing “The only regret I have is I wish I had done it sooner” and this is 100% the way I feel too. It was the best decision I have ever made.”
